Check Out Full Service

7 01 2009

Full Service, a reggae-fusion-rock-funk-etc. band from Austin, Texas definitely deserves being checked out. They’re growing in the Austin music scene and recently spent some time in Philadelphia writing and recording their new album. From their witty stage names, like Hoagie and Bone Saw, to their eclectic repertoire, Full Service has the potential to become an exceptional band if they continue to keep on rocking.

Cajun Dance Party

1 12 2008

Cajun Dance Party is a great alternative pop band based across the pond in London. Their songs blend Beatles and ’80s new wave in a unique blend perfect for winter chillouts. The “Cajun” part of their name is a mystery even to the wise minds of Frequency.

The Voom Blooms

26 10 2008

The Voom Blooms are a great pop quartet from the hip UK music scene.  Their tunes are a catchy combination of punk energy and Beatles bounce, with just enough electronics to make things interesting.  While the band is unsigned, Rolling Stone recently included them in the magazine’s list of the 25 best bands on MySpace.  Check them out here:
